For the life of me, I loathe running. Yes, you heard that right! I used to make all excuses just so I wouldn’t go for my run during my fight training but here we are! I am a total beginner. By that, I meant, I have only ran 5kms once in my entire life until, of course, this time. I have read multiple research and articles to plan my half marathon training so let’s see if I will be able to cross the finish line on the day of the race. My main goal for week 1 is to build endurance to run 5-10kms. My main challenge is the pain on my lower abdomen which is the only thing that sets me back 😭 I would usually still keep going till I couldn’t any longer, but I would still walk, not stop entirely. Then, once the pain eases up, I continue my run. I’m far from my goal but I’ll take it one day at a time and one step after the other (even when it’s scorching hot outside and my legs are screaming from excruciating pain).
