there’s a reason for the famous quote, “yoga changed my life.”

a consistent yoga practice can create mental clarity and calmness, increase body awareness, relieve chronic stress patterns, relax the mind, improve sleep and create more mindfulness throughout many areas of your life.

it’s challenging to convey the depth that yoga can have on your overall well-being until you experience it yourself but i highly encourage you to give yoga a try if it’s been calling to you.

two years ago, I was so overwhelmed with everything - work, chores, physical wellness, growing my personal brand, maintaining relationships, taking care of my dog, all the things. I just wanted to cry in fetal position so that’s basically what I did.

i went to a restorative yin yoga class on a thursday night. all the lights were off. the teacher had incense and guided us through a very calm series of stretches.

since then, I have been to upwards of 300-400 classes and can’t even believe the change in my mental health. things that used to trigger me, overwhelm me, upset me, etc. I can now take with so much more ease.

I actually recorded a full hour long episode on my podcast ‘already friends’ that went live on dec 8th called “a beginners guide to yoga and how it can transform your life” and I go into way more depth on my journey, the benefits and tips for beginners.
