Today, my friend cooked for me 🥘

Day 84 of life after layoffs:

Today was a fun day with good food! Very touched that my friend cooked for me and we had a nice walk at Jewel.

I realised it’s super hard to keep my spending to a minimum when I’m out of the house because truthfully, everything needs money and I haven’t been very thrifty. 😰 Part of me feels YOLO because I still have enough money but part of me feels irresponsible for spending like this so I’m in the midst of trying to reconcile these two emotions and strike a balance. 🤍

Also, the recruiter from the company I interviewed with called me and invited me down for a 2h whiteboard challenge next week! I’m so glad it isn’t a take home assignment, gonna start preparing tomorrow. 🥰
