💡 I found the perfect wardrobe staple!!!💡

Sharing one of my recent purchases - a linen maxi skirt! This skirt has very quickly become one of my wardrobe must-haves and will definitely stay in my current rotation for awhile.

🐚 What / where to buy

This is the Glenda Linen Pencil Skirt from Love & Bravery ($45)

It's OOS online but I managed to grab one at their Plaza Sing outlet (they seem to have stock for quite a few pieces that are OOS online)

🐚 What I love about it

— It's so versatile and can be dressed for office / casual days out; I'm trying to be more intentional with my purchases so I'm keeping an eye out for pieces that I can wear in many ways (otherwise they will join my pile of clothes that only see the light of day on weekends 🥲)

— It's non-sheer which is hard to find in many linen pieces, especially bottoms

— The fit is really flattering - it hugs the waist/ hips but isn't too tight. There's still room for movement and the straight cut silhouette has an elongating effect

— It's lined with cotton, so even though its a 'double layer', it's still cooling unlike polyester/ nylon which tends to trap heat

— The only down side I can think of is that it's not stretchy at all, so honestly idk if it'll still fit after a good meal (definitely gonna avoid this when going for a big meal) / idk if I'll still be able to fit this in a few years' time 😮‍💨

🐚 Final thoughts

I've been wanting to get a linen pencil/ maxi skirt for quite awhile now, but always reluctant to buy online (even though there are so many cute options) because I've been disappointed several times before e.g. sizing, sheer fabric, weird cutting, etc... Glad I didn't make any impulse purchases and waited for the right one to come by 🤭
