SEA brands for corporate girlies!! (on Shopee!) 😍😍

A while ago when I was window shopping on Shopee, I stumbled into the world of South East Asian independent clothing brands and omg I fell IN LOVE!! Not only are most of them affordable, they also look soo good and unique!! I’ll be sharing some of my favourites I found (on Shopee and IG) so you can say BYE 👋🏼 to your basic love bonito and carrislabelle etc, etc pieces and expand your wardrobe!! ✧ My review: I bought their Juna Top in Turkish (blue) and receive compliments every time I wear it out! The colour and cut makes the piece stand out and I like that it’s versatile.

✨ SAOU 🇸🇬

✧ Style: Elegant, elevated classics. Modest pieces

✧ Price point: $$$

✧ My review: LOVE their newer pieces. SAOU gives a very effortless but put together look! It’s also giving 🍷 Sunday brunch 🧀 Recently bought their Woolen set and love that I can dress them up or down. Not the most affordable brand so I like to shop their sale!

✧ Style: Modern corporate essentials

✧ My review: You can buy your entire collection of work pants here. They have it in all sorts of cuts it’s amazing!! The workmanship is really good as well for what you pay for! I own two pairs and am already thinking of getting a third!

✨ Choco Clothing 🇻🇳

✧ Style: Trendy and youthful pieces that are well suited for SG weather

✧ Price point: $ (if I can put half a dollar sign, I would)

✧ My review: I don’t own their most popular dress on their page but people are saying the quality is as good as Love Bonito’s for a fraction of the price SO… 👀 I do own a simple black skirt from them and I can attest to the quality!

✧ Style: Contemporary classics with a twist and a sprinkle of culture!

✧ Price point: $-$$ (mix of really affordable pieces and pricier pieces)

✧ My review: they have a good mix of your basics and some much more unique pieces. I bought their mini Daydream bag which, although doesn’t store much, is super cute!! I also got their Flora Vest in grey that has a uniquely SEA style floral embroidery all over it. I get so many compliments from all ages (including the aunties!! They love the modern take on a classic design)

✨ SHU SHI 🇻🇳

✧ Style: Playful but chic versatile pieces

✧ Price point: $$

✧ My review: Their clothes are pretty much made for sg weather. They look so breezy and give off chic, summer vibes ☀️ I bought the Halure and Jani top and fell in love! The Jani top was very elegant. I received a lot of compliments when I wore the Halure top out! To the point where ppl dm-ed me, reminding me to tell them where the top is from 😳

✧ Style: All your basics settled

✧ Price point: $

✧ My review: Their Yuka top was all the rave at one point and I still highly believe in the hype bc it sits so well on my body (like skims 👀) and goes with anything. I still reach for it in my closet to this day!

✨ Tharo Clothing 🇻🇳

✧ Style: Trendy basics that are a little sexy but still work appropriate!

✧ Price point: $

✧ My review: Another great basics shop but with a little more flare! The quality is not the best but it’s good for the price point! I love their cross tube shirt which I can wear to work, to a party, or for an errand run 💕
