huh wear so nice to school for what??

hellO everyone! here's my take on wearing a "hall fit" vs dressing up for school🤪

whenever i leave/go back to hall the firsT thing everyone ALWAYS asks me is "wah you wear so nice where you go", and when i say school... the standard reply will be "huh why you dress up for school" 🧐

it is true that dressing up does involve waking up earlier, choosing outfits, doing makeup etc, but here's why i choose to wake up earlier rather than sleep that extra 30 mins!

🌟 feeling good about myself!

dressing up really makes me feel more put together and in my #grwmgirl era especially... on days where i'm stressed in school😭 it just gives me a confidence boost and more motivation hehe

⚡️morning head start!

the conscious choice to wake up earlier usually also gives me time to clear the morning grogginess too! instead of groggily walking to class on an empty stomach, i found that on days where i dressed up, i was walking to class munching on at least some biscuits and feeling much more energised and ready2learn!

😛 i'm definitely not saying that the classic hall fit with crocs is wrong! it's comfortable and you really can save time and energy getting ready on sleep-deprived days🥲 i definitely haVe turned up to class in crocs by the time week10-11 rolls around...
