🚨 NEW THRIFT MARKET IN TOWN

Thryft Weekend Garden is a weekend event hosted by @/thryft.asia and focuses on selling preloved booked alongside a wide array of thrifted clothes from Japan! Apart from these, they also feature local sellers at their event. I didn’t manage to get photos of the local sellers’ booths but there were handmade accessories and toys being sold today 👀

Here’s my personal experience after visiting this brand new thrift event earlier today:

The thrift market is hosted in an air-conditioned mall within walking distance from Orchard! I was honestly expecting more male options for the thrifted apparel portion but they were mainly females’ so if you’re into female fashion then this’ probably a place you should visit! There was a rack full of Love Bonito items that my friends went ham on. Items were mostly priced below $20 and furthermore, you get a $10 discount voucher if you RSVP on their site beforehand. These vouchers can be used right away too!

Clothings aside, lots of preloved books were sold as well with almost all below $10. The vendor kindly categorised the books so it’s honestly very convenient for us visitors when we’re browsing. All the books I saw today went in mint condition with some even plastic-wrapped! Really very worth if you’re an avid reader but doesn’t want to spend that much on a brand new book.
