SUSHIRO - Is it worth the price? 🍣

As an early CNY friends reunion dinner that my friend and I always have - we decided to go for Sushiro this year! Their prices start at $2.30 per plate with the most expensive being the black plates at $4.90. Here are my recommendations on what you should get!

Black Throat Sea Perch ($2.90)

I will recommend those who don’t really eat sashimi to get this! Its slightly cooked (?) and tasted good on its own without any soy sauce.

Engawa ($2.30)

This was goood, had a little bit of a slimy texture but it tasted savoury and oily. The mint leaf is probably there to help make it less greasy but I preferred eating the engawa on its own and then eat the mint leaf separately.

Bluefin Fatty Tuna ($4.90)

Wow the price could get you a bcm at a hawker centres 🥲 but this was also really yummy! Fatty and melt in your mouth - get this to treat yourself!

Marinated Winter Yellowtail in Yuzu Soy Sauce ($3.90)

This tasted really refreshing - with the savoury taste of soya sauce and the yuzu giving a refreshing touch to it. This was already well marinated so theres no need to dip this in soy sauce!

Overall I would say that Sushiro is definitely more expensive than Genki or Sushi Express but the quality is the on another level. Give it a try and treat yourself to this once in a while!
