I’m gonna start this new series of dinner itineraries to remind myself of dinner + dessert options available according to different locations/MRT stops. This is for the people who don’t want to do both dinner + desserts at the same restaurant and want to walk about with their dinner kakis.

This week’s theme is #treatyourself at City Hall MRT.

1️⃣ DINNER

📍 Location: Koji Sushi Bar | 252 North Bridge Road 03-28A Raffles City Shopping Centre, Singapore 179103

⏰ Operating Hours: 11:30 AM - 3 PM, 6 - 10 PM (daily)

A lot of people don’t really know about the Koji Sushi bar at Raffles City, simply because it’s so hard to find. It’s in some random ass corner of the mall that’s attached to the hotel, so I don’t blame you if you’ve never seen it. This is definitely a little more on the pricey side as compared to Genki, Sushiro, even Itacho Sushi. But I think the price is very worth it. For the quality of ingredients you get, the service, I would (and have) come again even at that price tag. Main dishes like their Chirashi bowls start from $28++.

2️⃣ DESSERT

📍 Location: TWG Tea @ Swissôtel The Stamford | 2 Stamford Rd, Singapore 178882

⏰ Operating Hours: 10 AM - 10 PM (daily)

I never knew that there was a TWG “cafe” in City Hall! Just a short five minute walk away from Koji Sushi Bar, you’ll get not just seating space almost immediately, but what caught me off guard was the price of the desserts served. I always thought that they’d be upwards of $30, but surprisingly they were all under $20??? We did end up also getting a pot of tea to go with our desserts, which brought our total to around $60. But again, we were treating ourselves. If you’re not that big of an eater, you can definitely do one dessert and one pot of tea. I highly recommend their profiteroles because oh my god why were they so good?????

🤩 If you end up trying this itinerary, let me know how you like it! I did this exact sequence just last month and I really enjoyed it, even though my wallet…not so much.
