A banana split is one of my favorite desserts and this healthier version is just as delicious as your classic! Topped with fresh fruits, yogurt and runny peanut butter, it can also be served for breakfast 🫶🏻 You really don't have to give up on all the food you love to live a healthy lifestyle, you just need to adjust them a little bit to improve their nutritional profile, and I’m here to help you do just that! 🤩
Ingredients:
- a medium banana 🍌
- strawberry yogurt
- strawberries 🍓
- blueberries 🫐
- peanut butter 🥜
Steps:
1. Slice the banana in half and place it on a plate as shown in the picture
2. Add a big dollop of yogurt and spread it around the centre
3. Top it off with the berries and drizzle on some peanut butter
4. Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
- you can use greek yogurt if you have access to a good brand without too much sugar
- you can also top the bananas with granola and other chopped nuts!
