underrated italian restaurant in the east!

my family loves patronising this cosy authentic restaurant so often my dad became good pals with the owner hahahah and this restaurant does deserve way more hype than it currently does 🥰🥰 here's our old favourites:

1. Tagiatelle 🍝

creamy yet not gelat - this was my fav pasta flavour among all and we gulped it down within minutes 🤤 super addictive omggg

2. Oriecchiete 🍝

this was sooo unique I LOVED IT SM. highly recommend it if you like tomato based pasta.

+ i also liked that these two pastas are HANDMADE and they taste so addictive yet light on the palate 🤤

3. Prosciutto with burrata 🧀

the burrata was an add-on but pls trust me, THESE ARE SO WORTH IT. we'd always crave for this appetiser hahaha it's a must-have. the burrata is milky & creamy, and complements the yummy, slightly salty prosciutto parma ham soooo well

4. Steak 🥩

my dad loves visiting this place for its affordable, value-for-money steak. i guess for its price it's rly worth it!!!!

5. Lava cake (our FAVVVV DESSERT) 🍫

this is by far the best lava cake we've ever tried in SG fr. we'd ALWAYS order this dessert hahaha. it's really unique bc the lava cake is decorated on top of a sugar biscuit along with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. sounds diabetic but it surprisingly doesn't taste overly sweet; the bitterness of the chocolate complements the milky ice cream really well

6. Pistachio tart 🍰

this was okay! pistachio taste was robust but i very much prefer the lava cake, maybe bc i'm a chocolate lover muahaha

this casual, cosy restaurant is defo worth a visit!!! really family friendly and the boss is super friendly. brought back a taste of Italy fr :) 🇮🇹
