How to avoid the >1h queue🧍‍♂️🧍🧍‍♀️ @ Mil Toast Seoul 🍞🇰🇷

What to order 🛒🍞: The plain steamed bread is the only thing I’d highly recommend. I tried the corn and sweet potato flavours too but it felt like it was taking away from the taste of the bread. The menu did write that we had to get 2 flavours for each order of steamed bread but it’s worth asking if you can just get 1 flavour. I personally have never had steamed bread before and it is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. We should all steam bread more often??

We also tried French toast which my party loved but I’m not a French toast person so I can’t comment on that.

The iced cream latte was amazing. The hot drip coffee, again, I can’t really comment on as it’s not my thing but it tasted fine.

🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️🧍🧍‍♂️🧍🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️: We went early before opening time (on a MONDAY) but waited over an hour to get seated and the food took another 40min. It really did waste half a day in total. However, after we ate we roamed around for a while & whenever we passed by the cafe, I saw that the queue was much much shorter? I think coming early is probably not great as everyone would want to hit it at the opening time so the queue ends up being super long. For you to be ahead in the queue, you’d probably have to come at least 1.5h before opening - but even in that case you are just waiting for it to open so you are waiting regardless. But around midday the queue was like 1/4th the length.

I honestly think that if you can find steamed bread somewhere else it’s totally fine to just eat it there. I just found it so great coz I’ve never had steamed bread before.
