🙌🏻 Hands down the BEST bread I’ve ever tasted!! 🍞

Not really a bread-person myself, but the steamed bread at Mil Toasthouse in Seoul is REALLY something. 🥹✨

Located at Ikseon-dong, the cafe is repurposed from a traditional hanok house left behind from the olden days - giving the nostalgic architecture a modern look.🍂 The cafe has always been popular for their iconic bread, and we finally got the chance to visit during our trip!! 🫶🏻 Here’s what we ordered:

🍞STEAMED BREAD WITH SWEET PUMPKIN (served with house-made butter) 9/10

With a 20mins waiting time, the bread was steamed and came hot in a bamboo basket (like the kind you see in dimsum places). Believe me when I say it was AMAZING 🥳- Not to mention their house-made butter tasted so good!!!! 🧈The butter goes perfectly well with the hot and soft steamed bread - pure happiness indeed ❤️

🍓SOUFFLE FRENCH TOAST WITH BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE 7/10

The thick french toast is soft and “fluffy” inside with a slight crispy exterio 🤤☁️ The berries and cream cheese balanced the sweetness of the French toast amazingly well, and everything just makes sense!!✨

It was a 5 degrees evening ❄️ and the hot steamed bread really healed us up from the cold🥺💕 While the toasts were on the pricier side (considering they are just plain bread), it was still quite therapeutic to watch the bread steaming process infront have them served hot right up for us to enjoy~😌 Definitely recommend!!
