Food to keep the Doctor Away

I woke up feeling so terrible today. Every sign of an oncoming illness. As much as I wanted to be glued to my bed, I picked up my extra heavy body to start on damage control.

All I could think was “I need garlic STAT”

I know that if I can help my body do it’s job I can keep an illness from getting too far. I adjust my diet immediately to boost my immune support and give it probiotics, anti inflammatory and antimicrobial weapons of choice. I imagine the cells in my body going to battle against whatever infection I have…

I also make sure all of these things are in forms that won’t irritate or overwork my GI system which is why I keep it simple and start with the warm soup to sooth my stomach.

This way my cells are quickly getting the fuel they need to replenish their energy and fight harder to keep this machine suit well oiled.
