best cafes to mug in sg 🤓 | glasshouse chjmes

join me on my hunt for the best study spots in singapore! i visited glasshouse @ chjmes and here’s my honest opinion about it (as a study spot!)

☕️ space:

it’s quite a cozy space with about 5-6 tables and 2 bar tables? super duper duper pretty though there are full length windows which let in the natural sunlight and i just love the space!

🏷️ price range/quality:

price range for drinks is about $4-8. i got the iced latte ($7) and lemon loaf ($8). latte is solid and a good portion! lemon loaf is tangy mouthwatering and got all the flavour points right but is kinda dry and crumbly 😔 but overall, really satisfied with what i got!

🧺 ambience:

the deco and aesthetic is amazing, music is also quite vibes and calming!! i saw quite a few people studying and some were chit chatting, basically really nice vibes 🫶🏻

🔎 other nitty gritty:

tables are really big to do work, but there are no charging ports 🫠

their service is really good, i was super surprised!! waiter was super nice and greets everyone with water + introduction to where the menu was.

overall verdict: 8/10

i really really like the space and the vibes!! the only downside is the lack of charging ports and maybe opening hours (8am-6pm so no night sessions 😔) this is one of my favourite cafes to date and i’ll definitely be back again, to study and to chill with friends! have you visited glasshouse at chjmes? let me know what you think in the comments and if you have any other study cafe recommendations~
