We paid $50 for coke, tea and water for 2 pax

This restaurant definitely deserve this “paid-content” by me.

Coke light is $11, served in a glass that doesn’t look like it can hold a 330ml can of coke, more like 200ml. Taste was way off and horrible, feels like it has diluted with water and it wasn’t gassy at all. The taste is like you left the coke in a glass filled with ice for an hour. Even hawker serves you better coke, definitely the worst one I’ve ever gotten in a restaurant.

Asked for iced water, the waitress told me there’s no ice water but I saw people in Google Reviews paying for hot water? We ended up paying $17 for a bottle of still water.

The waitress asked us whether we want tea before we even got a chance to look at the beverage menu so usually isn’t it charged based on just one pot? Turns out the tea is charged based on pax, so we paid $22 in total for a pot of tea. Imagine having 4 pax , and having to pay $43 for sharing the same pot of tea. Tbh, I wouldn’t have gotten the tea if I know it’s charged by per pax because I have already ordered coke and still water.

As for the food, it’s good, we enjoyed the dim sum a lot. But I do saw some Google reviews commenting that food is salty/used too much MSGs etc. My take is though it’s not too salty for me, I definitely still need to pair the food with beverages sooo you get it 🤷‍♀️

Additional comments to add :

We have one waiter and one waitress serving us. The service from waiter was good but not so for the waitress. I know the braised peanut (pickles as stated in the receipt) is chargeable, and thankfully when the bill came it wasn’t like 15 bucks and chargeable by pax. Although we asked our leftovers to be dabao, it doesn’t mean we will be leaving straight away after you’ve placed the dabao box in front of us. I was still eating the peanuts and the moment I put down my chopstick to take a break the waitress came and started to clear the empty plates. Her hand reached out to the plate of peanuts even before she asked if we still want it. No idea why she even asked when her hand has already touched it.
