Hihi babes! 🤍 I’m always showing something new and interesting about myself to you 😆 This time, we’re gonna try kickboxing lesson! 🥊 My coach boyfriend is probably one of my main reason why I would want to try kickboxing 😗
He’s a kickboxing coach who has more than 7 years experience. Due to the reason that I could not get myself up for exercises and workouts, and I keep complaining that I’m fat 🥹 Thus, he asked me to try kickboxing 🥋
We started our training with cardio and core workout 🏋🏻 By doing cardio and core workout, it will increase our stamina, fitness and strength 💪🏻 Next, it will reduce our health risks from obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, cancer and more 🫀Not only that, it can also boost our mood by reducing the tension associated with anxiety and promote relaxation 🍃 Most importantly, it can improve our mental well-being and our sleep 😮💨
Here’s a list of cardio and core workout I did, you can take it as a reference: 3 sets, 30 secs rest
✅ Crunches
✅ High knees
✅ Climbers
✅ Leg raise
✅ Burpees
✅ Plank (1 min)
After the cardio workout, we began with our training of the day 🥳 We started with some warmup of the basic kickboxing techniques for beginners, this include:
✅ Jab
✅ Cross
✅ Left hook
✅ Right hook
✅ Turning kick
✅ Side kick
✅ Low kick
We spent around 30-45mins for cardio workout, and around 60-90mins for learning the basic kickboxing techniques. Lastly, I’ve also learnt takedown 🤼♂️ The two techniques that I’ve mentioned in the video is shoulder throw and double leg takedown 🫣
Honestly, takedown is my favorite part of the whole training, I was so excited to learn it 😋 Learning takedown is to protect ourselves during dangerous situation and it is essentially crucial to learn for self-defense 🦺
There are a very few gyms that come with mat, hence I’ll just put the address here just incase you need it one day ✨

To conclude my day: if you ask if it’s recommended to learn kickboxing, I would definitely give a yes yes answer 🤩 It brings too many benefits and totally no harm to us, we can learn self-defense while getting fit, win win situation so why not 🧘🏻♀️
