Hihi babes! ๐ค Iโm always showing something new and interesting about myself to you ๐ This time, weโre gonna try kickboxing lesson! ๐ฅ My coach boyfriend is probably one of my main reason why I would want to try kickboxing ๐
Heโs a kickboxing coach who has more than 7 years experience. Due to the reason that I could not get myself up for exercises and workouts, and I keep complaining that Iโm fat ๐ฅน Thus, he asked me to try kickboxing ๐ฅ
We started our training with cardio and core workout ๐๐ป By doing cardio and core workout, it will increase our stamina, fitness and strength ๐ช๐ป Next, it will reduce our health risks from obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, cancer and more ๐ซNot only that, it can also boost our mood by reducing the tension associated with anxiety and promote relaxation ๐ Most importantly, it can improve our mental well-being and our sleep ๐ฎโ๐จ
Hereโs a list of cardio and core workout I did, you can take it as a reference: 3 sets, 30 secs rest
โ Crunches
โ High knees
โ Climbers
โ Leg raise
โ Burpees
โ Plank (1 min)
After the cardio workout, we began with our training of the day ๐ฅณ We started with some warmup of the basic kickboxing techniques for beginners, this include:
โ Jab
โ Cross
โ Left hook
โ Right hook
โ Turning kick
โ Side kick
โ Low kick
We spent around 30-45mins for cardio workout, and around 60-90mins for learning the basic kickboxing techniques. Lastly, Iโve also learnt takedown ๐คผโโ๏ธ The two techniques that Iโve mentioned in the video is shoulder throw and double leg takedown ๐ซฃ
Honestly, takedown is my favorite part of the whole training, I was so excited to learn it ๐ Learning takedown is to protect ourselves during dangerous situation and it is essentially crucial to learn for self-defense ๐ฆบ
