This Ice Cream Uncle Almost Made Me Cry 😭

I almost cried when I heard what this ice cream uncle told me…..

I’ve been living in this neighbourhood my whole life, and have been seeing this uncle and his wife for as long as I remember.

However recently things haven’t been the best for them…. 2 years ago they stopped coming for a while (more than half a year ish). When they came back they told us that the uncle had injured his ankle and it swelled so much that he couldn’t walk properly and hence couldn’t ride his bike.

Thennn recently he came back (without his wife this time) after more than half a year of not coming again, he told us that he fell and fractured his bone and was wheelchair-bound for 7-8 months :(( When I asked about his wife, he told me that she passed away due to pneumonia….. 😭😭 I was so close to tears after hearing all that… The next time I bought ice cream from him, I asked him to keep the change (30 cents) but he still returned it to me!!!! Tbh idk how he still manages to sell ice cream after all that had happened, I can’t imagine how he must be feeling after losing his wife :((

Anywayyy if you do see this uncle in your neighbourhood do support him!! Don’t give him more money, buy more from himm ~~ I think he would appreciate it much more than receiving pity money!
