don’t waste your time trying MARKET BLUE

i have always wanted to head down to market blue to try after seeing so many reviews on tiktok. i finally got the opportunity few weeks back to head down and was so disappointed with the food 😔 i guess i had high expectations after seeing it being highly raved but unfortunately no….

i was super excited to try it and got a plain bagel ($3.90) with blueberry cream cheese ($3). to my disappointment, the bagel was hard and dry and the blueberry cream cheese didn’t had a strong impact. even after spreading and having them together, it was a unsatisfying lunch. i guess it was my high expectations as i could still remember how the bagels i had at london bagel museum were so good back in my korea trip last month 😭

i had the expectations of the mochi filling to be the flavoured cream cheese (strawberry/matcha cream cheese) well… nope it was just normal cream cheese and it was coated with the flavoured sugar, which was just strawberry/matcha sugar. additionally, the skin was too thick and hard which didn’t impressed me unlike other reviews i have read. the donuts were $3.20 per piece!

overall, i wouldn’t recommend and head down again just for the donuts and bagel. the market blue concept store snacks and ramyeon are more on a pricey side as compared to other online/k-marts in sg. i have not tried the food court inside and might consider heading down one day if i am nearby!
