If He Had Been With Me (DNF)

I've entered a reading slump lately and I tried to get back into reading by reading this but I should've read something else...

This book reads like a Wattpad novel that I would be more interested in if I were 15 and not 25... It follows two childhood friends and features the classic slow burn, friends to lovers with a rather sad(?) sick(?) twist at the end. I didn't really enjoy knowing what was going to happen at the end of the book within the first few pages of the book and that really destroyed my motivation to read..

Do recommend me some books that you love!!
