Hair wash day routine! How I go 4 days in between washes 

✨Step 1: Scalp massage

Massaging your scalp promotes circulation and supports healthy looking hair! And not to mention, it feels sooo good on your head haha. I get my hair wet then massage my scalp. Sometimes I use it while I’m shampooing, it just depends on what I’m feeling. My scalp massager is from L'occitane but honestly any one works! 

✨Step 2 and 3: Shampoo TWICE

You can either use a clarifying shampoo then your regular shampoo, or use your regular shampoo twice. Shampooing twice ensures a deep cleanse by first removing surface dirt, oil, and product buildup, and then thoroughly cleaning the scalp and hair. Having clean hair allows for your other hair products to work better, like your conditioner, leave-ins, and oils! You should double cleanse your hair like you do your face! My fav clarifying shampoo is from Living Proof and fav regular shampoo is from Dae! Both provide a deep cleanse while still keeping my hair hydrated and nourished. My hair doesn’t feel stripped after using these!

✨Step 4: Deep condition

Be careful not to put conditioner on the roots of your hair as this can cause oil build up faster. I focus my conditioner from my ears and down. My favorite deep conditioner is from Gisou! I’m out of it (yay product empty) so I’ll def need to go to Sephora soon. This is my favorite high end deep conditioner. It ACTUALLY makes my hair super soft and hydrated. My hair LOVES it and notices when I apply it 

✨Step 5: Apply after shower products 

Oils, serums, and leave-ins! Gisou makes my fav hair oil, it adds shine and hydration without looking too greasy. I only apply this on the bottom half of my hair. I use the leave in and styling cream from Dae, it smells so yummy, helps detangle hair, and tame frizz. 

✨Step 6: How to extend hair wash days 

You need a good dry shampoo! I haven’t found one I like from the drugstore, so I’m convinced there is none haha cause I’ve tried PLENTY and none of them do the job. My favorite is from Dae! (I clearly love Dae products haha) It soaks up your oils instantly and also provides volume which I LOVE. 

➡️My biggest tip is to start applying dry shampoo on your second day hair even if your hair isn’t turning into a greaseball yet.  This can help prevent oil buildup by absorbing excess oils as they start to form. This has helped me a lot! Also, if you workout, apply dry shampoo BEFORE your workout. This allows the dry shampoo to soak up your oils/sweat while you’re moving!
