I made a police report on my student?! 🚨

Hi zesties🍋! I am finally back after a short hiatus. Some of you guys might notice that I have not been making content for the past two weeks or so, and this is because of the overwhelming work that I am drowning in.

Yes, like the title suggests, I made a police report on my student. TLDR: she refuse to pay for her Jan’s tuition fee despite multiple reminders. Mind you, late payment is not uncommon for me BUT most of the time it’s either because the parent forgot about it or because of some other issues, AND they usually pay within a week. What triggered me the most was how nonchalant and unapologetic she is about it.

I never dropped a student on my end before, and she is the FIRST! The mental stress of not receiving payment for my service is too overwhelming for me. I don’t understand how she has the right to “feel annoyed” at me “disturbing her” with multiple reminders for her refusal of payment. I wasn’t kidding when I said that this issue made my heart palpitate and caused me anxiety.

Nonetheless, I am very thankful for the agency that got me this assignment - Elitetutor. They really help me handle the issue very well and constantly updated me about the situation. A few days ago, the payment was finally made and I guess I can sleep well at night now. 😴
