best mochi ice cream chain in seoul

if you know me you’ll know i really like sweet things so here’s my favourite mochi ice cream place in seoul called yukimochi (유키모찌) it’s a chain with branches all over seoul and it’s one of my favourite places to drop by for a quick sweet treat while i’m shopping!

🍨flavours

they have a variety of flavours - i personally like the raspberry crumble (4500krw) and the strawberry milk (4500krw)! the raspberry crumble has cheesecake crumble bits in it and it really gives the ice cream a very nice texture 🩷 they also make the mochi fresh and wrap the ice cream on the spot so the mochi is soft when they serve it to you!

🍨shop

they have quite a few branches - the easiest i’ve found to get to are the branch in yeonnam/hongdae Yuki Mochi and the branch in seongsu which is conveniently located next to Rain Report Croissant which is another cafe i love and would recommend you to drop by as well!

unfortunately you can’t dine in here - they give you the mochi on a little tray with toothpicks so you can quickly eat it outside the store or you can bring it with you to eat while walking!

🍨 overall i’d say yukimochi is definitely a hit for the price - i love mochi and i love ice cream so this is really such a fantastic combination and the handmade mochi on the spot is such a nice way to make sure it doesn’t get hard unlike the convenience store mochi ice creams! so make sure you drop by while you’re in seoul - however they do take a good number of random holidays so make sure to check on naver maps whether the branch you’re visiting is open that day 👍🏻
