Signed up for CCS? Here’re a guide on what to do!!

🛠️ Defects check for CCS

There are electricity and water supply available even before move in, and SP has provided a guide online on how to do turn it on (try searching “Pre-turn-on Information for new BTO apartment owners”)

Once water and electricity are available, turn on your CCS manually and let it run for a few hours to check for any leaking and if the air blowing out is cold. Since we haven’t had our handover and haven’t gotten our remote control, we couldn’t adjust the temperature level. However, the air blowing out should still be cold, we were told it would be around 24 degree C. Also check and mark out any defects spotted on the CCS units and trunking.

Defects on CCS are under the care of SP. So apart from the making appointment with BSC, remember to also schedule a rectification appointment with SP if there are any defects on the CCS. The QR codes to make appointment for both are on the kitchen wall.

Once the request to make an appointment is submitted, Daikin staff will reach out to schedule a defect review appointment. This is when you’ve have to go through the defects of CCS with the Daikin staff on site and they will arrange a day to conduct the rectification.

So far we have been quite lucky and were able to schedule a meeting to review the defects with the Daikin staff within 1 week of key collection, and the workers came down to rectify some of defects the next day after the review meeting.

✍🏻 Handover

On the day of your handover, you’ll meet up with SP Group and Daikin representatives to go through some information regarding CCS and the SP app, sign the handover document and receive a welcome pack (which includes remote controls for each of your CCS units).

The rectification and handover procedures can happen concurrently and you need not wait till the rectification is over to have the handover.
