🇸🇬 | Paid almost $50 for a fish?! 🙀🙀🙀

Being one of the popular China grilled fish chain, @tanyu_sg is know for their grilled fish menu with over 10 flavours and 4 types of fish to choose from. 🐠🐟

• 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐰 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 ($𝟒𝟐.𝟗++)

I can't remember which fish we ordered but I'll just assume it's seabass. The fish was served with green bell peppers and topped with a bunch of peppercorns and other ingredients like luncheon meat. The salty and slightly numbing gravy was delicious and pair well with the fresh and meaty fish. However, it could be spicier to make it more appetising.

This was alot more flavourful and thicker. May be overwhelming for those who are not a fan of garlic but not an issue for me because i love garlic. Good to go with rice I would say.

The eggplant was soft and creamy, while the garlic on top provided a slight crunch to every bite. Diners would also be able to taste the lingering flavour of cumin after each bite, though the garlic might be overwhelming for certain people after a while.

• 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐰 𝐎𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐢𝐥 ($𝟓.𝟖++)

Doused with onion oil, the springy noodles was fragrant and yummy. But that's that, there's no other ingredients in the noodles.

• 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐮 ($𝟑.𝟖++)

Issa upsized mantou and I had 2 myself hehe. Crispy and fluffy with delightful sweetness when dipped in the condensed milk.

💬 TLDR: The grilled fish was quite nice and good for 2 pax but it's expensive. And you do get very thirsty after. Think the most worth item is probably the mantou 🤣
