*NEW* Cafe by The Populus Cafe @ Seng Kang ❤️😻

*New* cafe @theapricuscafe located at Seng Kang is opened by the same folks behind @thepopuluscafe. The well-designed cafe featured a clear window roofing that allows you to enjoy the alfesco dining experience without getting sunned or rained on 😍☁️!!

• 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 ($𝟐𝟐+)

Features a wholesome stack of butter toasted bun, sandwiching 150g Australia grass fed beef patty, gruyere cheese, homemade chilli and coriandor jam, mustard mayo and pickles with a side of paprika fries. The beef patty was real juicy but lacked flavours and somehow the ingredients didn't come together harmoniously. I have also tried their fried chicken burger at populus and it wasn't memorable as well. Seems like burger isn't their specialty.

The Dukkah spiced salmon fillet was juicy with crispy and savoury skin. And the spaghetti perfectly soaked the flavours from the brown-looking sauce that's creamy and buttery. Really enjoyed the flavours though it got a little heavy towards the end. Also, the portion is quite generous so it's good to share if you're ordering other dishes.

💬 TLDR: A little out of the way if you don't stay in the vicinity but worth a visit for the 'alfesco' dining experience and pasta!
