WHY DOES NO ONE TALK ABOUT THIS CAFE?!🤨

I walked past this store and saw people dining inside and I was like ??? because the signboard was “ Chye Seng Huat Hardware “

Turns out it’s a cafe and PLEASE DON’T BE A DUMBASS LIKE ME STRUGGLING TO OPEN THE WHITE DOOR BECAUSE THE ENTRANCE IS FURTHER UP AT THE SIDE🤡

The croissant was so huge and just look at the amount of almond! Very flaky but a little dry for me but still very yummy😋

There was no remanence of the sauce that they provided along with the fries and fish when I finished ,y meal. 😂 The TarTar sauce complements the dish so well and the fries were those made from scratch and very well seasoned!! However, I did wish for there to be more meat tho🥲

THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE DISH😍 The baked rice wasn’t dry at all and sauce was even throughout the dish. THE PORK WAS PACKED WITH SO MUCH FLAVOUR EH🥰 Usually in baked rice I won’t say that the meat is very well-flavoured (cos usually just all thrown in and baked) BUT THIS WAS DIFFERENT!! It wasn’t processed meat but freshly flavoured meat😚 IDK HOW TO REALLY EXPLAIN SO JUST GO TRY IT YOURSELF YOU WON’T REGRET😌

🛋Ambience & thoughts:

The cafe has a very cozy feel and there are both indoor and outdoor seating. There is a wide range of desserts to choose from. Our food came relatively fast despite there being quite a crowd.
