Crispy & Loaded Curry Puffs for only $2 😍🤤!!

@tanglincrispycurrypuff was founded by Mr Ng Yong Cheong in 1952. If you have been to Hong Lim Food Centre, you might be confused why there are two similar looking and sounding stalls (the other one is "Tanglin Crispy Curry Puff Original"). Turns out, it's run by his two sons separately after a family dispute.

Only the former stall was opened when we are there. Lucky us, we came right when the new batch was freshly fried and managed to get one 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐮𝐟𝐟 ($𝟐) 🌟 without waiting.

Kneaded and stuffed by hand, the puff was fried to perfection. The crispy and flaky was yummy, but even more so when eaten together with the fillings. It's moist, savoury and spicy with good among of potato cubes hand, some chicken chunks and a slice of hard boiled egg. Nothing not to like about this except it would have been perfect if there's some buttery fragrance from the crust.

💬 TLDR: Would get this again without a doubt if we happened to dine here again!! 😋
