Free onsen ⁉️

Hi Zesties, I had just recently visited the Sembawang Hot Spring Park and i’m here to share my thoughts on it!

Finding the hot spring was pretty hard and I had to walk around 20 minutes from canberra mrt to reach there. The area outside of the hot springs park is currently under construction therefore it might be a little hard to spot the entrance of the park!

The park is on the smaller side and can get a bit crowded. But lucky (or not) for me, it was SLIGHTLY drizzling that day, so I scored a spot in the foot bath without any lines.

First things first—before diving into the foot bath, we had to wash our feet at a handy tap. The temperature here is no joke! The top tier hits a steamy 70°C, the middle is about 60°C, and the foot bath level cools down to a comfy 50°C. There was this uncle that is VERY passionate about this hot spring that comes to visit everyday, sitting at the edge and constantly mixing water from the top to the bottom tier, making it super hot! My feet turned bright red when I first dipped in, but I got used to it pretty quickly!

I also spotted people bringing their own pails to scoop hot spring water and set up mini foot baths on the benches. 💧

Egg Cooking Station

And don’t miss the egg cooking station! Onsen eggs, anyone? Just bring your own buckets and cook your eggs in the hot spring water. It’s such a unique experience—I honestly didn’t think I’d get to do this in Singapore cause the only other time i got a chance to do this was in japan!🔥

Final Thoughts

The best part? It’s totally free! The vibe is super chill, but finding the hot springs can be a bit tricky since they’re tucked away in an area under construction. If you’re after a fun, unique outing or a free date idea, this place is definitely worth a visit!
