Today let’s make something easy and comforting to beat Monday blues😨😄 This simple, delicious and comforting soup recipe using just 3 main ingredients, green cabbage, carrot and fish balls.
Most people will use Napa Cabbage to make soup but do you know that green cabbage or beijing cabbage makes sweet and delicious soup too! Give it a try. It is perfect for busy weekday lunch or weeknight dinner🍲👍🏻.

Prep time & total time: < 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1/2 green cabbage / beijing cabbage, wash and torn or cut to smaller pieces.
3 carrots, peeled and sliced.
10 to 15 fish balls, cut into half each.
1 to 1.5 litre water or stock of your choice
1/2 teaspoon pink salt or to taste.
1/2 teaspoon mushroom seasoning powder or to taste.
1/4 teaspoon White pepper (optional)
Coriander leaves
Fried shallots
Instructions :
1. In a pot soup, add in carrots and green cabbage, cover and bring to a boil then simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes or till carrot and cabbage leaves are soft and translucent.
2. Add in fish ball, coriander leaves, mushroom seasoning powder, pink salt then stir and simmer for about 1 minute.
3. Lastly add in the fried shallots. That’s it! Very easy and simple right?
