3 tips for successful fall bulb planting

I love to plant bulbs in the fall because they are such a wonderful surprise when spring rolls around! But there are three tips to make sure you’re successful! #sponsored

1. Wait until it’s cold enough outside that the bulbs will not sprout and will stay dormant. This is usually October through December.

2. Use a tool to assist in planting. I love to use Power Planter to dig precise holes that do not disrupt the other plants in my flowerbeds. Plus, everything gets done so much faster with little to no work!

3. Fertilize each hole before placing in the bulb.
