Hey D’Charms 💘 Do you agree that it's too hot in Malaysia right now? Although warmer weather is pleasant, excessive heat can cause health diseases such heat stroke and hyperthermia. Make sure it doesn't injure you or anybody you know because these are actual things. Here are my advice to everyone:

1. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty. Avoid excessive amounts of caffeinated beverages as they can dehydrate your body.

2. Dress appropriately: Wear lightweight, breathable, and loose-fitting clothing made of natural fibers such as cotton or linen. Light-colored clothes can also help reflect sunlight and keep you cooler.

3. Use sunscreen: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Reapply it every two hours, especially if you're sweating or swimming.

4. Eat light meals: Opt for smaller, more frequent meals that are light and easy to digest. Choose foods with high water content like fruits and vegetables, and avoid heavy, greasy meals that can make you feel sluggish. Eg . Strawberries, cucumber, celery , lettuce .

5. Limit your alcohol : Alcohol causes dehydration, which can hit especially hard if your body is already struggling to cope with the weather. Try to drink in moderation.

6. Seek Shade / Use cooling accessories: Carry a handheld fan, use a cooling towel, hats , umbrellas or wear a damp bandana around your neck to provide some relief from the heat.

Remember, it's essential to listen to your body and take breaks when needed. If you experience symptoms of heat exhaustion or heatstroke, such as dizziness, nausea, rapid heartbeat, or confusion, seek medical attention immediately. Take care charms 💘
