๐ผ๐ผ Hi angels! Itโs ya girl here hehe. In today's post, I will go through the best ways to avoid a seasonal depression slump. I personally feel like there is NEVER a bad time to start working on yourself and felt like recently I have been needing to motivate + inspire myself more than usual. So I decided to list down the best tips for you guys to feel your best ๐ฅฐ๐ซถ๐ป
1. START EATING WELL
- Up your fruit and veggie intake. Maybe youโve been feeling a little lethargic from your food choices lately. If yess, try adding in more of the good stuff โ fruit smoothies with spinach, a hearty salad for lunch, and a big pile of veggies as a side for dinner! Yummy ๐! In my opinion, sometimes we suddenly try to cut things out when weโre trying to get healthier but adding things in is a much better approach
2. DAILY MOVEMENT
- Whether itโs walking, Pilates, running, lifting, stretching it doesnโt matter! Always move your body in some sort of way everyday, your body will thank you for it ๐ง๐ผโโ๏ธ
3. DRINK WATER BEFORE COFFEE
- When we sleep, our body gets super dehydrated so itโs best to start your day with water first thing in the morning before sipping your coffee!๐งโ๏ธ Bonus point if you can drink 2L of water everyday, thatโs literally the best thing you can do for your body hehe
4. 10K STEPS DAILY
- This is so so important for your mental and physical health. Get up, get on your hot girl walk every morning/evening/night whenever you feel like it and get your steps in! Donโt beat yourself up for it if you donโt achieve 10K steps in a day, start small ๐๐จ Consistently is the key!
5. DISCONNECT AND READ
- Take a moment each day and disconnect from technology ๐ฑ๐ต Set aside at least 20 to 30 mins reading or journaling everyday. Doesnโt matter what book you read, it could be fiction or a self help book, whatever youโre drawn to! โ๏ธ๐ฅฐ
