👼🏼 Hi angels! It’s ya girl here hehe. In today's post, I will go through the best ways to avoid a seasonal depression slump. I personally feel like there is NEVER a bad time to start working on yourself and felt like recently I have been needing to motivate + inspire myself more than usual. So I decided to list down the best tips for you guys to feel your best 🥰🫶🏻
1. START EATING WELL
- Up your fruit and veggie intake. Maybe you’ve been feeling a little lethargic from your food choices lately. If yess, try adding in more of the good stuff – fruit smoothies with spinach, a hearty salad for lunch, and a big pile of veggies as a side for dinner! Yummy 😋! In my opinion, sometimes we suddenly try to cut things out when we’re trying to get healthier but adding things in is a much better approach
2. DAILY MOVEMENT
- Whether it’s walking, Pilates, running, lifting, stretching it doesn’t matter! Always move your body in some sort of way everyday, your body will thank you for it 🧘🏼♀️
3. DRINK WATER BEFORE COFFEE
- When we sleep, our body gets super dehydrated so it’s best to start your day with water first thing in the morning before sipping your coffee!💧☀️ Bonus point if you can drink 2L of water everyday, that’s literally the best thing you can do for your body hehe
4. 10K STEPS DAILY
- This is so so important for your mental and physical health. Get up, get on your hot girl walk every morning/evening/night whenever you feel like it and get your steps in! Don’t beat yourself up for it if you don’t achieve 10K steps in a day, start small 🌟💨 Consistently is the key!
5. DISCONNECT AND READ
- Take a moment each day and disconnect from technology 📱📵 Set aside at least 20 to 30 mins reading or journaling everyday. Doesn’t matter what book you read, it could be fiction or a self help book, whatever you’re drawn to! ☁️🥰
