🧇 Dairy Free Waffles - Goma Gelato & Matcha °1 Gelato ($20.70)

The waffle was crispy on the outside and soft inside. I was surprised the Goma Gelato tasted even better with the waffle than the Matcha °1 Gelato. Both ice creams had strong flavours, and the green tea one wasn't too sweet, which is good for those who do not have a sweet tooth.

🍰 Tiramisu ($8.90)

The balance between cake, cream and coffee makes the cake just right. The cream was not overwhelming and the Tiramisu was far from dry and hard, making each bite smooth and delightful. This cake is also good for those who prefer their desserts on the less sweet side.

🍵 1925 Cold Brew ($8)

We had high expectations for the cold brew, but it fell far short, tasting no different from your everyday oolong tea. There was nothing remarkable about it and it simply wasn't worth the $8.

🍵 Chrysanthemum Yuzu Cold Brew ($8)

This Chrysanthemum Yuzu Cold Brew is fragrant. The yuzu and chrysanthemum blend well, allowing their flavours to shine.

Hvala @ CHJIMES is hands down my favourite spot among all their outlets. Stepping inside feels like a direct ticket to Japan, with the tatami seats stealing my heart. I was lucky to grab one for my afternoon tea, given how it can get quite crowded, especially in the evenings. Hvala @ CHJIMES offers a cosy and inviting environment that's perfect for afternoon tea, for anyone to kick back and enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea.
