Finding it hard to get veggies in your diet? I used to be the same.

Green vegetables provide vital nutrients, minerals and anti-inflammatory properties which help make sure your body and cellular functions are in the best condition possible.

Greens have all the vitamins and nutrients your body needs: vitamin A,C, fibre and antioxidants that prevent you from getting sick and strengthen immunity. Dark leafy green vegetables contain the most of these compounds (eg. Kale, spinach, broccoli)

Everyday I make sure I have at least one veggie side dish. I usually end up gravitating towards oven roasted vegetables with whatever I have in the fridge, as it’s super easy and tasty, but there are so many ways to prep a great veggie dish.

Veggies aren’t the best tasting, but the preparation and what you put in it / on it, is key to making it even easier to consume. Besides that, consuming fresh greens in the form of juice and smoothies work well too!

We all know we should be eating more greens, but it’s so hard to in modern day! There’s of course, powdered greens you can take with water, which does better than nothing. But I believe in food first and then supplementation whenever necessary. Simple techniques to get more fresh greens into your daily life…

🔥 Tip! Take wholefruit (oranges, apples, bananas...etc) with you in your bag and keep it in a place in-sight.

🔥 Tip! Meal prep your veggies. Even if you don’t cook at home often, making sure you are able to cook a few veggie side dishes will help you get those greens in tremendously

🔥 Tip! When eating out, always order a veggie side dish first, and base your protein/carb choice after that. This is not to de-prioritize protein or carbs, it just ensures you get the most difficult thing out of the way as menus are usually not too veggie heavy!
