Tried this famous dim sum place in JB and…

It did not disappoint!

We reached at 10 am in the morning on a Saturday and had to wait for roughly 40 minutes before we got our seat. However, I would definitely come back to queue again next time because the food is solid and exactly what you’d think of when you want a some piping hot dim sum to fill your tummy!

1. Special Sauce Stir Fried Radish Cake RM$8.90 - 1000/100 🥕

This is freaking delicious and very different from the carrot cake we eat here in Singapore. It is lot more savoury and the texture is really nice, I don’t really know how to describe it hahahahah. The plate looks small but was filling due to how much raddish cake and egg they give 🤤

2. Teh Bing & Kopi Bing ☕️

Yes, this is a must order as well. Their drinks are very gao (thick) yet just the right amount of sweetness without leaving the kind of aftertaste you usually get in your mouth with such drinks!

3. Xiao Long Bao RM$9.90. (I forgot to take a photo of this 🥹)

Okay, this one surprised me. Honestly, I find XLB in general kinda meh and it’s not what I usually care to order, but the ones here are so yummy! The soup inside is light and not oily yet still very flavourful. It’s something that I would for sure order again the next time I’m here!

4. Har Gao RM$7.90 🦐

Har Gao is my favourite thing to order at dim sum restaurants because I LOVE PRAWNS, and this definitely hits the spot 🥹 You can really taste the prawns inside, it’s not filled with filler ingredients like fish paste etc and not overly salty.

5. Liu Sha Bao RM$5.90 ✨

I’m not a liu sha bao connoisseur but according to my bf and friends who always has to order it at dim sum restaurants, it is really good and they ate a lot so… I would trust them HAHAHAH.

Even though there are some misses like their char siew bao and claypot rice, I would still come back here again because the rest are soooo good :’)

Have you tried this place before? Let me know what else I should order!
