Thrifting in Korea: Dongmyo Flea Market🇰🇷👀

I’m slowly going through my list of thrift shops to visit in Korea and Dongmyo was the first one!

🤍 Impression:

Truly a flea market - with shops rolling out carpets and a mix of offerings on the street. You’ll find thrift shops with more curated and organised items as you walk deeper in.

Love that padded jackets and coats go for much cheaper than retail (5~15 SGD), so you can fulfil your basic wardrobe needs at an affordable price

Clothes are generally in very good condition and stores are heated during winter, organised, and has a range of sizes

If you’re into vintage toys, cameras, or watches, you’ll love this place. (Owners really know their stuff so it’s hard to bargain, but you know you’re in good hands!)

Beware of bootlegs and/or fakes! If authenticity is important to you, it’s much safer to visit vintage shops at other neighbourhoods (or sometimes at ALand!)

After a while, you’ll realise that many shops offer similar items, so it could be difficult to find a unique piece
