thrift therapy: cute curation & solid promos 👀

earlier this week, i popped by backstage vault for some end of year retail therapy 😮‍💨 and i loved the curation — definitely worth travelling from the west... and potentially getting lost in the compound because i couldn't for the life of me, find the lift 🤡

🚶 5 min walk from tai seng mrt (exit A), take the lift up and turn right — once you find the sign, walk through a couple of doors! (directions here ...)

— WHAT YOU'LL FIND

for starts, it's a collective space shared across ahma.thrifts , woofie.co and chubz apparel and i really liked how you can kind of see the flairs of each store so that was fun! you'll be seeing a whole lot of:

- unique tees with cute prints & embroidery (loved how most of them are thick and well-weighted)

- tons of denim, ralph lauren sweaters

- quite a broad selection of bottoms, vests and even jumpsuits to browse through

— PRICE RANGE 💸

generally pretty broad: you can get some really cheap & nice pieces from chubz apparel's collection for just $7, whereas jumpsuits and ralph lauren sweaters would of course be more expensive — but i think everything's relatively reasonable for sg prices! everything was in real nice condition though, and you can tell that the owners really do care about curating them well — so you'll get quality stuff for sure that makes it worth!

the owners were really nice & sweet honestly and you get a loyalty card on your first visit that you can use to accumulate chops for discounts! there are also some crazy crazy deals coming up in december, so if you're planning a visit, do consider these days:

✔️ 26-29 dec: exclusive sales week with double signing of the loyalty card — aka get discounts faster (aka mad worth pls)

✔️ 30-31 dec: buy 5 or more for $10/pc (hello this is crazy good, pls hmu if you want to go together 😫

i copped this grey ralph lauren sweater which was honestly everything i needed this rainy season since i'm freezing cold everyday — loved the colour and fit of it, so i had to get it even though it was a bit steep. loved how versatile it is too as a staple piece, where you can go simple and casual as an oversized sweater, pair it with pleated pants for class or tuck it in with a maxi skirt for a day out with more accessories!

there was also this GORGEOUS pale pink top that was only going for $8, until today i question why i didn't get it BUT it was solid. if you're going and it's still there please get it (or get it for me) ((jk)) 🥲🫶🏻

regardless, absolutely loved the vibes and curations and YES psa shoutout for pals to go down again on 30/31 dec thankyew. 🫡
