KYO Kohee - Best Matcha in Singapore

KYO Kohee is my go-to matcha place when I’m bored of the usual CBD beverage haunts. Located in the heart of Tanjong Pagar, it is a hole-in-the-wall, quaint, takeaway café. KYO Kohee prides themselves in serving up specialty coffee and Japanese tea, and aims to provide customers a short respite amidst the hustle and bustle of the CBD.

I normally order the Okumidori Matcha Latte ($6.90, additional $1 for Hokkaido milk) which is the shop’s signature hand-whisked Matcha with milk – the Hokkaido milk lends a creamier and richer texture. But for days when I need a slight caffeine boost, I go for the Dirty Matcha Latter ($7.90) which includes a shot of Espresso. There are also complimentary chocolate chip cookies displayed at the side, which you can help yourself to while waiting for the drinks to be prepared.
