How to make Chocolate Crepe?

Ingredients:

• 1 cup all-purpose flour

• 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

• 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• 1 1/2 cups whole milk

• 4 large eggs

• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (plus more for the pan)

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional fillings and toppings:

• Whipped cream

• Sliced strawberries, bananas, or any fruit of your choice

• Nutella, peanut butter, or any spread of your choice

• Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.

2. Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.

3. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking continuously until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. If necessary, strain the batter to remove any remaining lumps.

4. Rest the Batter: Let the batter rest for about 30 minutes at room temperature. This allows the flour to absorb the liquid, resulting in a more cohesive batter.

5. Cook the Crepes: Heat a non-stick pan or crepe pan over medium heat. Lightly butter the pan. Pour a small amount of batter into the center of the pan, tilting and rotating it to spread the batter thinly across the bottom. Cook for about 1 minute or until the edges start to lift from the pan and the bottom is lightly browned. Flip the crepe and cook for another 30 seconds on the other side.

6. Serve: Fill or top your crepes with your desired fillings or toppings. Roll or fold the crepes and serve immediately. Dust with powdered sugar for a sweet finish.
