TRY TRADITIONAL INDIAN SWEETS WITH ME 🍬

my friend and i wanted to explore more local food and cultures and we chanced upon ths famous india sweet stall near little india, though I can't say I've grown to love them - I'm more open and willing to try different cuisines now 🤗

Here's what we tried:

ᴘᴇᴅᴀ ᴘᴀʟ ɢᴏᴠᴀ \ $1

this is a milk biscuit made together with sweet syrup - tastes pretty similar to a condensed milk flavoured biscuit

ᴄʜᴏᴄᴏʟᴀᴛᴇ ʙᴜʀʙʏ \ $1

this is supposedly similar to fudge - it had an odd powdery texture and also had a strong spice and earthy taste

ᴍɪʟᴋ ᴄᴀᴋᴇ \ $1.50

the taste of the spice were really strong - unfortunately i did not enjoy this one 🥵

ɢᴜʟᴀʙ ᴊᴀᴍᴜɴ \ $1.50

fried dumpling balls soaked in sweet syrup - the texture was pretty good, like a tiny sponge cake ball but this was way too sweet for me 🥹
