gotta love freshly fried donuts <3

kobashi (香ばしい) is famous for their doughnuts. kobashi offers their doughnuts à la carte, in a box of 6, or in a box of 10. many, if not all customers came specifically to buy doughnuts!

what stood out about all the doughnuts was the dough itself—it tasted fresh, as if made that very morning, and had a wonderfully chewy texture! furthermore, none of the flavors were overly sweet, and the taste of each flavor was distinct and authentic. out of all the flavors I tried, my favorites were the Pistachio Raspberry and Pink Lemonade—definitely must-tries! kobashi offers so many flavors that it’s hard to try them all in one go, but I'll definitely be back for more! 🍯

in addition to doughnuts, Kobashi also serves brunch dishes and drinks, though I didn’t include pictures because we didn’t enjoy them as much.

the dish tasted buttery, and we prefer the traditional version with just olive oil, which is why we didn’t like this version as much.

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶 [$𝟮𝟴] 🍜

we couldn’t get used to the cold pasta, as we’re more accustomed to eating hot pasta.

𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 [$𝟲.𝟱𝟬] 🍵

it tasted like your average matcha latte.

we visited on a Saturday morning, and by then, there was already a long queue outside. the wait for the pasta dishes was quite long as Kobashi was very packed. we also noticed that many people opted for takeout, which is probably what I'll do next time!
