ONE OF MY FAV KBBQ PLACES 🫶🏻💯

The Gogi which means the meat in korean is a hidden korean restaurant run by a Korean family. Tucked away on the second floor of Alexandra Central Mall but its worth the trouble finding it for sure 🙌🏻

I usually come here for kbbq but was in a rush for lunch so here’s a review on their a la carte dishes which was pretty good as well 💯

Here’s what we got:

1️⃣ Dubu Jjigae ($15)

We ate this this thinking that we will be getting soft tofu but this had firm tofu instead and was disappointed but it was a mistake on our part 🥲 the soup was pretty flavourful nonetheless

2️⃣ Dak Kang Jeong - Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken ($22)

I loved the sauce - this is what you call sweet & spicy ✨ And I must say its kinda spicy the more you eat and it had slices of rice cake hidden in between the crispy chicken bites which was a nice surprise 🙌🏻

3️⃣ Kimchi Pancake ($20)

This pancake pretty well done with even crispy edges to it and it was not mushy in the centre 💯 very flavourful and had bits of kimchi in the entire pancake 😋

Overall, portions were kinda big too - this was too much for 2 and we couldn’t finish 😬 8/10
