🌸🌸 Where to CHASE Cherry Blossoms in TAIWAN 🌸🌸

Cherry blossom season doesn't only happen in Japan! Every year in Taiwan, catch the famous blooms between months February and April. We managed to witness and frolic amongst the bright pink trees this year, and found some of the best spots to appreciate these beauties during full bloom 🫶🏼

𝟭) 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 (九族文化村)

🌸: Early February to early March

Nantou’s Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village (~S$40) is the first and only Japan-certified cherry blossom location outside of Japan. It's famous yearly cherry blossom festival prepares special programmes and performances for visitors!

𝟮) 𝗧𝗮𝗶-𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (泰安派出所樱花林)

🌸: Early February to Mid April

Head to Tai-an Police Station in Taichung City’s Houli District and snap pictures with the many vibrant Yoshino Sakura and Yae Sakura trees beside the Police Station.

𝟯) 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮 (阿里山國家森林遊樂區)

🌸: Mid March to early April

Chiayi county’s Alishan National Forest Recreation Area is well-known in Taiwan for its dreamy and scenic foliage throughout the year. In March, the pale Japanese blossoms, Yoshino cherries, bloom along the train tracks — best admired while waiting for the iconic Red Forest Railway Train to pass.
