Two years ago, I worked as an admin near a bus stop said to be haunted. People affirmed that at a particular hour, it wasn't safe to wait there, but I thought this was a mere myth until I experienced it myself.

One night, my supervisor asked if I could stay late for overtime. Of course, I agreed since I needed the extra pay. I finished at about 11 p.m. and saw that my bus wouldn't arrive until 11:30. My colleagues took Grab rides home, and one even asked if I wanted to join in with her; however, I said no since I had two days off.

As I was waiting at the stop, I suddenly felt like someone was staring at me. I was somehow uncomfortable; I tried justifying it all and focused on my phone, but something urged me to glance on my right side. First, I resisted, thinking it was my imagination, but I finally gave in.

This came as a shock, and there sat a woman a few meters away from me; her long hair covered her face, her clothes tattered. And I froze into an ice with this sight. Then she started humming-a soft, eerie sound that sent chills down my spine.

After what felt like forever, my bus finally came. I turned around, and she was gone. I jumped quickly onto the bus; the driver gave me a curious look. Since that night, I have never waited at that bus stop alone again
