HOW DO YOU MAKE A THICK SMOOTHIE?
If you’ve been craving a thick smoothie that has that ice cream like consistency this post is for
you! I have three tips that I swear by when it comes to making the perfect thick smoothie.
01. USE FROZEN FRUIT
I always have a bag of frozen bananas in my freezer to add to smoothies. Frozen Mangos &
frozen papaya are also my favorite fruits to use. You can always do from berries as well but I
found that combining them with either frozen banana, mango or papaya gives it that ice cream
consistency that everyone wants to achieve.
02. USE A GOOD PROTEIN POWDER
This takes thick smoothies to the next level. You could also use a collagen powder to help
naturally thicken the smoothie as well as increase the protein & balance blood sugar. It’s really
a win win!
03. USE LESS LIQUID
I like to start with around 1/4 c of liquid and you can always increase from there.
