somehow, i’ve ended up reading a lot of books about bookstores/bookplaces this year — and it’s definitely a happy coincidence!

gosh…. after reading this….. the urge to open a bookstore is so real……. all the characters are so compelling and real, and i adored the little found family they made within the bookstore

📚 days at the morasaki bookstore

the main character deals a little with burnout and finding purpose in her life again, and i really loved how books helped her rediscover herself

📚 what you are looking for is in the library

librarians are amazing!!! books are magic!!! there were some parts of this that hit so hard i almost cried on the MRT while reading (wild ik…..)

although this list is mostly translated fiction, there were a couple english books i read too but they were not as good 👀

anyway! let me know if you’re putting any of this on your TBR, i know i’ll probably re-read these again if i need a little pick-me-up
