Sneak peak to my crochet collection

I started my crochet journey with my sis early this year, and these are some of the crochets we made in the recent months.

To be frank, crochets we made in the first month are actually very loose, and not in good shape/cute. This collection is only with the crochets after we mastered how to crochet.

It’s a Burmese traditional toy called Pyit Tine Htaung, a toy that was very popular especially in the countryside back in the days. The original toy is made of hard material and whenever you throw it, it always stands up. The toy also represents perseverance, resilience, and ability to never give up. We wanted to make something which gives burmese vibes, and also something meaningful. Hence, we tried to come up with a pattern ourselves, and made this little Pyit Tine Htaung.

On a side note, I recommend ya’ll to crochet if interested. When I was a beginner, my crochet quality is really terrible that people can’t even tell which toy I’m crocheting. You just need some more practice!! It’s really calming and best activities for introverts like me✨
